The main changes include:
- New models: "real" grates, new shrubs, more archs
- Optimised models, compiled with lower subdivision (=more triangles)
- New and edited textures (esp. new brick textures)
- More distinct lights and shadows
- Completely renewed brushwork
A few things worth mentioning:
- I didn't compile it with -deluxe in the light phase, since the textures don't have bump/norm maps anyway (tried it, but doesn't look good).
In return, the performance increased considerably (+ 15-20%), and I was able to compile a high-res lightmap without performance loss.
- I reduced the amount of portals, I don't know if this could cause problems (compatibility).
- There are a few minor changes with the clipping: on some of the overhead tubes (increased curvature), and new clips for the added archs.
- The new models are prefixed with "v1r1_". The models that are not needed anymore are listed in the compile_redundant.sh scripts, I kept them in since other maps may use them.

add defrag waypoint support to CTS, first time someone finishes a map the code records the checkpoint sequence and saves it in a .defragcp file that it'll then use in the future (mappers should pack them in the pk3 to ensure trolls don't waypoint a map improperly on a server! :P)

try improving warmup weapon selection code; also:
g_start_weapon_* -2 makes the gun not appear in DM (overrides gametype default), except in allguns game types (like LMS)

playerdemos - recording actions of a player and playing them back using bots, to fake multiplayer demos. Still incomplete, and only works correctly with cl_movement 0 (otherwise you get minor changes on playback).
Cvars and commands for this have not really been made yet, and will come later.

FruitieX, you broek mah effects! I guess this was accidental, but don't add/remove effects in the middle of the file, only add at the end and purge unnecessary lines on unused effects while leaving the definition in place
